Sevilla - Barcelona 2 - 1
« on: March 04, 2007, 05:53:17 AM »
Whats happening with Barca this season? They only got better quality wise, but mentality wise it got all fucked up. And Ronaldinho isnt the same Ronaldinho as last season.

I think this is the first penalty Ronaldinho misses for Barca. And that red card Giuly got was fucked up.

1) Sevilla played a great game.
2) The ref gave a red card to Giuly and one to Zambrotta and i still don't know why.
3) Can't wait for Barca vs Real, next week.

How did I know that was coming :D

Spanish League is still pretty open as Valencia and Real aren't that far behind the top two, would be good to see Sevilla win it though.

I remembered something about David Marshall saving a penalty against Barca, just couldn't remember who took it. As soon as I saw your name as a reply I knew it was him. What ever happened to David Marshall?

Part of Barca's problem this season is due to eto's injury, no one stepped up and replaced him. They struggled to get results and play well which has brought added pressure.

Turns out he wasn't as good as we thought.

The 5-0 game is Bratislava was the final nail in his coffin I think.

Played against Chelsea the other week - http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=449985&plid=29154&clid=45&cpid=10

Barca shouldve never got Gudjohnson as a stand in for Eto. They need a striker who can create his own chances and is a real finisher. Gudjohnson is a good player but hes not a finisher.
