The 20 Greatest Hiphop Producers Ever - #20

As everyone seems to be doing lists of some kind, I thought I'd get in on the act, and do a rundown of the 20 Greatest Hiphop Producers ever, so to start the list off, here's the first one,
#20 - Mark The 45 King
Defining Track: The 45 King – 900 Number
Having contributed his skills to nearly 40 releases between 1987 and 2000, it is perhaps suprising that many people will still of never heard of The 45 King despite everyone having heard at least one of his tracks.
After the success of his breakbeat classic “The 900 Number” in 1987, 45 King went on to produce the debuts of Flavor Unit members Lakim Shabazz and Chill Rob G in 1988, and produce the hits “Wrath of my Madness” and “Ladies First” for Queen Lafitah’s debut album. After producing Shabazz’s second album, 45 King pretty much disappeared from the scene as a major producer. He released a number of breakbeat records including Breakpalooza and The 45 Kingdom, and produced the odd track here and there, but no major contributions to any artist albums. Just as it seemed that maybe 45 King’s old school mentality was going to leave him in obscurity, a beat that he passed to Roc A Fella tour DJ Clark Kent ended up in the hands of Jay Z, and became “Hard Knock Life”, Jigga’s first major crossover hit, and a track which introduced a whole new generation to the sound of the 45 King, and proved the producers lasting viability as a hiphop producer.

45 King also produced Eminem's "Stan" record.

I think you should hook up one of each producer's best beats to go with the review.

I was 56k-ing back when I first started doing this, hence the lack of uploads for the outstanding track, I'll see what I can dig out and add these to the threads.
