Dj POOH "Bad Newz Travels Fast" any good?
« on: October 06, 2001, 10:33:59 PM »
I have only heard "Whoop Whoop".  Are any other of the songs good?  I remember when it came out back in '97 I was gonna buy it, but I got DR greatest hits instead.

Its a mysterious album. At first I was like BWAAAAAAAAAAAAA datz some wacc shit.

Then I started listening to Bump Yo Speakers and Ebonics.

Then I got hooked like a cracchead!!!!!!!

Mista Grimm is a dope underground artist with a sharp sense of humour, Kam is wise as fuck,  and DJ Pooh is FFUNK.

Dont sleep on that album.

I be one of those tall skinny cats with the four-nine
Three-eleven that rips through Power-U's and breaks spines
I culture power-tuggin' boys who be drunk, buggin'
Lovin' loud noise from toys, club thuggin'
Sweet chocolate deluxe, rugged, sexy buttercup
That don't give a fuck about the cop in the club
RZA in DO U

yea dont sleep, this album is bump. the main lyricists on the album are Kam, Threat and Grimm (all very tight and underrated) plus you got bad azz, tray deee and some other cats on there. Pooh's beats are highly dope, if you liked his shit on Tha Doggfather cd youll love this album.

Snoop was going to be on the album. He had a song with Mista Grimm and Shaq called 'Work It Out'. But the song never made the album. fortunately i have it hehehe

anyway id give the album a 4 outta 5.
