I was on Hajj when brother Ali shared some wisdom/
Defeating one problem brings on the next one, son/
Damn he was right, I've came quite a long way/
Only to see more intense dilemna's keep developing/
Sometimes makes me feel like saying fuck everything/
But then where would I go? And what would I do?
I got mutherfuckin bills, a son, and marriage or two...
Damn, and it's fuckin confused, status is up in the air/
Trying to stay focus but my picture is still blurry/
Wish instead of 24 I was 88 and about to be burried/
Because my childhood is gone, things going wrong/
Back singing the same damn song, your waiting for the
part of this verse where I sound a little more hopeful/
Well keep waiting, meanwhile I'll keep it real in this notebook

It's the coming of age like Memphis Bleek
stressed out.. I can't sleep
body restless, tossin & turnin..
la la puffin mon, me lungs are burnin
this world is led by the leader of hell
and my mind is sorta under a spell
sorta in my own prison cell
aint doin well....
well.... if that's case, I gots 2 face.. reality
this temporary high is takin over me
damn, what's happenin 2 me?
sensative mind state, temper at a high rate
can't think straight, no patience, I can't wait
lost souls dwell in the depth of my little town
no question when asked if I was always down
but it got dark, desperate times took over
hearts got lil colder as we got a lil older
scared of the mirror now, lord help me god
zilla done lost it, please look over rod....
I been jumped, stabbed, robbed and layed out
so don't ask me why I don't wanna hang out!
but just so I don't look pussy, I stay posted
the streets is a game and there's no way to forfeit
I float on ecstacy trying to shake insanity
wondering why there's no one next to me
never do drugs alone, that's the devil doin evil
I get high to another level, trynna reach upheaval
grew up too fast, always the next batter up
now I'm going through it, just tryin to catch up
and life, well what can I say about that bitch?
she teaches me nightly as I cross each bridge
I'm bendin corners, fuck a 9 to 5, I hug the block
wonderin if there's more to life as I bump some pac
I kinda wanna make a lil soldier to maintain me
build my own family, see the picture I'm painting?
grown talk, ain't it? I guess it's the coming of age
a new chapter only if I decide to turn the page
but till then, I'm on the turf wit work, stressed
smokin kill, poppin pills, gettin chills, depressed
don't ever step on my toes, that's what I suggest
crack jokes around me cuddy, that's what I request
hell on earth is real, trust me, I'm officially a guest
don't wanna be a resident, that's what I detest
don't want this to be permanent, but I'm so obsessed
east side of the north, right here in the west
where I hold sacred, right next to my chest
shakin my past, lookin to the future, I want the best
everyday's been a test, I'm exhausted, I want some rest
maybe take a vacation, in bahamas, pause my mileage
in pajamas, wit no worries, nope, not the slightest
It's time to do somethin about being a victim
make some good friends and actually keep them
stop being a suspect, no more jail cells and court rooms
I want a big house, a big pool, with 4 rooms
is that what you call greedy? I don't think so
I ain't needy, I just don't wanna be ordinary, I want mo'
they keep askin me why? like what fo'?
I tell em one life to live and I want it all
hustlin, flexin nuts till I hear the lord call
