I knew he had some cool songs, and when i was very young his late 80s and early 90s stuff was pervasive and I liked it, but since I've gotten serious into music I haven't looked at his albums. i recently picked up thriller and off the wall and am getting alot of replay value out of them, like a motherfucker really. i knew he had tight songs, i didn't know he had dope albums.

i suppose but i never knew thriller/OTW as pieces were great like I do now. when I was a kid, i just remember liking that song 'black or white' and being melody-wise familiar with 'don't stop till you get enough', 'rock with me', 'thriller', and maybe a couple others.
