New Timbaland album
« on: September 12, 2001, 10:25:49 AM »
On a happier note..

How many of you have listened to that new Timbaland and Magoo joint?  I think its pretty good--Timbaland's beats are just too funky.  The one song I really enjoyed is "I am Music" which features the late Aaliyah.  Timbaland and Beck collaborated for the beat and Timbaland said this song is his proudest musical moment.  He says he'll release it as a single.  Try to listen to that song if you get a chance..its hot.

I read an article on MTV.com that explained that Beck helped produce I am Music, and if Beck and his label approves, Timbaland will release the song as a single.

On a side note-I always hated Magoo...but he sounds kinda tight sometimes.  His voice is certainly unmistakable.

I never understood why most of audience hates on Timbaland. He creates a whole new branch in hip hop, he's the third in producing after DrDre & RZA. I been waitin for that shit since "Welcome 2 Our World", since Beep Beep, yknowmsaing.....

Three-eleven that rips through Power-U's and breaks spines
I culture power-tuggin' boys who be drunk, buggin'
Lovin' loud noise from toys, club thuggin'
Sweet chocolate deluxe, rugged, sexy buttercup
That don't give a fuck about the cop in the club

Timbo has defo impressed me alot wit his production material. I've heard a portion of this latest joint, the Aaliyah joint is my favourite so far, she had a beautiful voice an' her presence is glowing on this record. I'll prolly cop it sooner or later.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.
