Medal Of Honor: Frontline
« on: June 03, 2002, 05:10:47 PM »
This game is the best game of 2002 so far... I haven't seen a better game this year... and its for the PS2... its awesome!

This game is action packed and you won't believe the intensity in it... now I'm not a war geek... I really dont get all high thinking about World War II and Vietnam... but this game has pulled me in... the game of course like the other Medal Of Honors (which i have not played) take place in WWII ... but damn, I've only beaten the first part of the first mission and had to stop because it is so intense... think about running around on ground full of planted mines and you have to lead your troop to safety, but covering them so they can escape, while planes fly over heard dropping bombs at the same time enemy troops are shooting at you... you can then shoot these enemy soldiers, watch them bend over and fall over the edge of a two story building or see them  fall in pain or break their legs as they fall... this game is just awesome... its a first person shooter like Goldeneye 007 (N64) , but in a realistic setting...

Yea I bought it because of the gamepro review.. you can read it here

http://www.gamepro.com/index.html?/sony/ps2/games/reviews/23828.shtml

oh and for all you xbox fans... I'll pray for you... yes they will make this game for Xbox and Gamecube, but yall have to wait... for all the good games.... GTA3 and Medal Of Honor.... by the time you guys get GTA3... us PS2 owners will have GTA4  ... sorry for hating, but I work in the video game dept. at work... and I just dont see why anyone would buy an Xbox other than the reason to have Halo...

Shit, I would rather have tha better versions of tha games, fa real!! X-Box is always gonna have tha better version over PS2 even if it after tha PS2 version!! Just wait till online gaming gets started and we will see if tha PS2 owners go out and buy an X-Box!!

Yea, but what you guys dont understand is that the system isn't selling...i read reviews on Max Payne and they did say that the Xbox version was superior, but I have Max Payne for the PS2 and I see no problem with my version... I love the game... but the point is, if the game isn't selling then developers won't make as many games for it... thats what happened to Sega with the Dreamcast... when Sony came out, it just stomped out Sega in sales, and Sega wasn't able to continue their contracts with developers, because they were all going to develop software for the PS2... now the only games that come out for the Dreamcast are Sega made... why make a good game if you know that no one is going to make it... thats what Xbox is going to deal with if they continue with their sales... Sega then had to stop production on the system because no one was buying the system because no games were coming out for it...

anything in the medal of honor series is dope.  X-Box can afford to lose a lot of money on their console...they could've practically given consoles away at launch if they wanted to... all that microsoft $ behind them

bpg  sega was almost bankrupt when they launched the dreamcast, they had almost no money for promotion etc, that wont happen to microsoft, they have tons more money than sega, they can buy any developer they want, and microsoft has said before, they are using the xbox to get their foot in the door in the video game industry

its all about the games, not sales, and xbox has tons of games that make me forget about MGS2 GTA3 and that POS final fantasy (metal gear solid 2:substance is comin out for xbox anyways...)
