Eric B., Idol Makerz Ent. Launching Tours Featuring Rap Legends

Idol Makerz Entertainment has teamed with rap legend Eric B., industry veteran Shakim Compere and Pay Up Management to launch two tours, The Legends Tour and the West Coast Legends Tour.

The Legends Tour is hosted by Dana Dane and will feature a number of Hip-Hop pioneers, including Big Daddy Kane, Whodini, DJ Hot Day, Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick.

Eric B. has released a number of seminal Hip-Hop albums with rapper Rakim. The DJ said the tour appeals to a number of fans, spanning various generations.

"It's a family affair," Eric B. told AllHipHop.com. "You can bring your teens out with you and bond and enjoy great music. You will see some of the greatest rappers and DJ's of all time and you don't have to worry about anything but having a great time with your family."

DJ Quik and Mack 10 will headline a separate West Coast Legends tour, which is targeting an older demographic.

Both tours are being produced by Idol Makerz' Jordy Nivar, Marc Live, Al B., Flex Cabrera and Mickey Bentson.

"We are going to show you just why Hip-Hop isn't dead with both of these tours," Idol Makerz Entertainment CEO Mickey Bentson said. "These will be true performances by legendary artists."

Idol Makerz Entertainment was formed last January by veteran Hip-Hop managers Mickey Bentson and Felix Cabrera.

The West Coast Legends Tour kicks off in July, while The Legends Tour takes place in August.

Quik, Mack 10 and The Game should definitely come with a album together.

They should call it the "Washed Up Legends Tour".  Sorry, I'm still pissed off about "Can U Werk Wit Dat".  I'd love to see DJ QUIK in concert.

The East Coast version sounds sick as hell too.

He's been an icon just like ice cube and wc.  He's been in the game with the ol school homies.
