Great interview.

I like what he said about producing, about sampling and all that. Real musicianship is something hiphop needs dearly. That's why I like west coast hip hop so much is that you hear more real musicianship, more composition as opposed to just sampling.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

truth +1.  crazy....imagine if shorty b decided to dip to the east coast instead of berkely? and the other funkadelic members offshoots? dudes came to the west to continue, our rappers benefited. California is eden mayne. that's why john steinbeck wrote 'east of eden'....cause you can't go west of eden without hittin' the ocean.

KURUPTION-81

didnt have any idea who shorty b was until i read that but wow what a great interview.

Pretty much agreed with everything he said, the only thing i didnt like was when he spoke about the source ratings and semed to suggest sales equal quality.

I havent heard the albums he was refering too so im not sure if the source skanked him or not.
