We need more G-Funk...
« on: August 23, 2001, 08:46:41 AM »
Damn, the sound of gfunk is what got me into this westcoast music. Warren's albums, Nates Two albums. I don't have tha twins album(s) but I've heard their songs and I must say, I love them just as much. I'm really anticipating Warrens new album, because damn he sounds so smooth.

Anyway I reflect back on a question Dr. Dre was asked back in 1993.

Question
"What Is The Future of Funk?"

Dre's Answer
"Snoop Dogg"

I heard Nate's new LP is gonna b called "Me & Music".

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

Warren G said October.

Battlecat is good @ it, but he doesn't come with that classic funk that Dre did on "The Chronic" & "Doggystyle."

I agree. And i seriously doubt that Nate Dogg is gonna make his album g-funk.... Does anybody else think that the album's gonna be chock-full of crappy guests?? I seriously hope he keeps it strictly G-Funk production & guests

I read somewhere they are both dropping in November also. Hope they come out sooner. I do miss the G Funk era. I hope Warren stays true to his G funk roots.
