The T-Pain Concert At House Of Blues Sunset Last Night Was Off The Chain

Going into the show, I only thought it was gonna be T-Pain. Then Felli Fel (he was the Host/DJ) announced that Huey, Lil Mama and Yung Joc were gonna perform too. Thought that was cool. Huey came out and he was real good live. Though no one knew his tracks beyond Pop Lock And Drop It, he knew how to get everyone into his set. He and his hype man did a real good job. Lil Mama came out next, she was ok. She can spit though. Next up was Yung Joc. This dude had a real hot set. Dude has a ton of energy and shit. Dude tore it down for real. That chain is ridiculous. Next up was T-Pain. At the start of the show, Felli Fel had said there would be special guests, so I was expecting some people to pop up. T-Pain was about to come out, but Felli saw someone backstage and brought him out to perform. It was Swizz Beats. I had seen before as DMX's hype man, so I knew he would have a live show. Shit was dope. He did Its Me Bitches and Money In The Bank. Then T-Pain came out and rocked the place. Dude has a live show that you gotta see. During his set, Chris Brown walked out and did a pretty hot track with Pain. Not sure of the name, but it was hot. Pain did a few more songs and then he walked to the back during Bartender and brought out someone. Akon obviously, but with Akon was Busta Rhymes. After they did Bartender, Busta had a mini set and did 3 or 4 songs. Dude was rocking a white suit cuz he was straight from the BET Awards. In typical Busta fashion, he killed it. After he performed he said he's 80% done with his album When Hell Freezes Over which is dropping on Flipmode/Aftermath. He did tracks with Akon and T-Pain and said the track with Pain is crazy. Felli Fel sort of forced Akon into doing some songs. He started doing Locked Up Akon jumped into the crowd. THE MOMENT he landed on the crowds hands, someone snatched his blackberry. Akon was pissed so he didn't do any songs after that. Security sort of stopped the show to look for it, but no one found it (obviously!). T-Pain went on with the show, brought out Yung Joc to do Buy You A Drank. Shit was dope. His last song was In Luv With A Stripper and sure enough, he brought out Mike Jones. Mike Jones was pretty dope. He did Back Then, Still Tippin and My 64. Pain talked a little and then they played Party Like A Rockstar to ride the show out.

I walked out of HOB satisfied...
