In Northern Ireland, Protestants won't let Catholics have civil rights because they're afraid that the predominantly-Catholic nationalist community would (if a referendum were held) vote to make Northern Ireland part of Ireland again.  The reason those Protestant cocksuckers have to do this is cause they're lazy fucks who enjoy living off the Brits' backs and getting $40 billion a year to stay part of the U.K., which they don't share with the Catholics at all.
