My first option would be Warren G, I always respected his personality. Very laid back and he never relied on an exagerrated gangsta rap image to sell hits. I'm not from the streets but I love bumping his music because it caters to any group of music buyers! He's a dope ass eccentric producer who is a self-made legend. I'd love learning everything I could from the guy about business and music. My second option would be DJ Quik. Visualism fucken revealed that cat. Damn genius, artistic, showman, connected with his fanbase on a more intimate, non-superficial level: the epitome of a true artist!

what are your guys' opinions? who would you want to shadow? apprentice for a few years and learn the complete music game from? Doesn't have to be westcoast or hip-hop, ANY MUSIC ARTIST.

Too late for this one, but I woould've showdowed B.I.G.

If they'd have to be alive, however, I'd prolly choose the RZA. LOL he says he has years of stuff thsat will never be be released... and he could teach me that orchestral shit he's been trying to do his past few albums
