Where's the fuckin hard ass beats these days?
« on: July 19, 2007, 10:49:21 PM »
I want to know where the hard beats are nowadays.  Who is producing some really dope ass grimey ass shit? And I don't mean bass heavy shit, I'm talkin like straight hard ass beats.  Primo of course is still doing it, Emile has come with some shit.  Alchemist...

But who else?  It seems like all these pussy ass excuses for rappers are only doing club joints and shit.

^^^^Yeah, the production on The Weatherman LP is hard. Not sure if those are the kind of beats that Jrome is looking for, but I do know that I'm feeling it...

If you ask me, that's easily Delic of Dutch hip-hop group Opgezwolle.

"Hoedenplank"

"Gekke Gerrit"

Tell me those beats ain't hard as fuck. It's a 'shame' though, these rappers are extremely lyrical, so most people here wouldn't be able to fully appreciate the music as much as people who understand them.

Marco Polo's album had some proper New York style beats on it.
