Dre and Neptunes... Time To Slow Your Roll.

Dont kid me, I love all their music, but its everywhere, Dre is hooking up with every single rapper, great for him, he's making money from what he loves, but rap is seriously losing originality from these folks, Neptunes are hooking up with every rapper too and pop stars, rock stars and the music style is just straight line, we need some new catz to hop on and present their faces.

the difference between dre and the neptunes
the neptunes create alot of shitty beats for ok artists or shitty artists..rarely anyone good
dr. dre creates quality beats for quality acts
if you want new cats to spring up so be it , but don't put dre in the same category with the neptunes cuz the biggest difference is the neptunes take the balls out of rap and dre adds it back on

Ehemm Neptunes have produced a lot of head boppin beatz.Like Southern hospitality and What it is.But I agree with them producin a lot of shit too.
Dr.Dre is untouchable with production. All the artist he produce fo comes out tight every time.

Dre is the best producer hands down. But, the Neptunes are starting to get there. I honestly haven't heard a Neptune beat that I hate. I especially love the beat to their own song when they call themselves N.E.R.D.S. . I love that Lapdance song with Vita and that other guy. I you have the chance, try to find the uncut version of that song. Whoa!!!!

The Neptunes can make some hot beats. However almost all there production sounds the same and like bigjake said, most of the artist they produce for are shitty, there are rarely any good artist.

i cant feel the neptunes....
what have they done thats got everyone riding their dicks?
heres a brief repetoire of neptunes produced songs
jay z - i just wanna love you (this shit is garbage)
ray j featuring lil kim - wait a minute (ermm....)
ma$e - lookin at me (oh dear)
busta rhymes - what is iz (THE most horrible song ive heard this year so far)
odb - got ya money (catchy, not brilliant by anyones standards though)
mystikal - shake ya ass (haha)
tha liks - best u can (dissapointing)
kelis - caught out there (terrible)
n.e.r.d.s - lapdance (i actually quite like this, except for the awful white emcee who talks about "representing white trash to the fullest")
ludacris - southern hospitality (witty but not wonderful)
noreaga - superthug (a disgrace)

Any of y'all heard that song they produced 4 Usher
I think it's called "I don't Know" ft P.Diddy.
IMO the beat is dope, but the P.Diddy appearence is AWFUL. I've never felt PD but that is the worst appearence i've ever heard from him, it's some straight up nasty shit.
