yeah but  they have been friends since they have been little kids, warren is like a brother to snoop. and snoop couldnt just give warren a little money. and you know snoop has got the money. look at all the things he has done. and warren has only put out three albums and only one of them was succcesfull.what kind of friend is snoop.

and if you have heard the song friends by 213
now you can say snoop id lying his way throiugh the whole thing. i dont care if their cool right now, im just sayin that is really  messed up. Warren is the bigger man for not bein pissed at him  and still stayin cool

you read tooo far into that comment snoop DID help warren the dude just said snoop wasn't mentioned , just because he wasn't mentioned doesn't mean he didn't help, Warren practically lives at snoop's house somtimes ...

Yea true, Warren spends a lot of time at Snoop's house, Ive seen three shows on Snoop's house and each one has Warren in it.... anyway Snoop offered Warren a spot on Dogghouse Records... but Warren decided not too, also Warren and Snoop were on BET last December and Warren was talking about how Snoop and him were real tight, but that he had no plans to release a record, then about two weeks later, report circulated that Warren was going to sign to universal and come out with a record and that after talking to Snoop and others he decided to make a record....

If you think about it.....

Warren has always been like that...wanting to do his own thing.....he could of signed to death row but didnt.......could of signed to dogghouse..but didnt.......could of signed to aftermath...didnt....

so he is doing his own thing..................
like always......this Story was probably written months ago........And Im sure they are tight........but u know.....deep inside.....Warren helped snoop and Dre hook up......Snoop climbed to fame.....fortune....yeah...snoop is a rich mutha.....movies...and guest apperances everywhere...and he was on no limit..and he got paid!.......but........havent ya'll wandered..why Snoop and Warren dont hook up n e more?   after all these years..snoop has been off of deathrow??  Doggystyle...Chronic..........My dj warreng all over those Cd's..........im sure like any tight close knit group...they had there problems..it just wastn publicized like him and Daz conflict was........but...i do feel they had some tension.......they are boyz though....213...was the beginning........but also in interviews...he always says...snoop never has time to do it.....so go figure...........

snoop is the man.........its all family.........

but........it be nice to have
warren g and snoop and dre do some beats and tracks....

who knows........dre and aftermath..and universal have cookin up there sleave......u thought the summer was hot.....for DPG shit........if our homie mellowman....is right........we have some good suprises in store for us........

Big Jake, why the fuck are you talkin' on Canadians like we're some dumb-asses??  Don't generalize, I'm Canadian and I took offence to that comment.

As for what Warren spoke on in the article,(I have it in front of me right now) the article says;

In fact, just one year ago he was forced to declare bankruptcy to free himself from Restless.  And so, the G-Child set out on his own, choosing to pass on Snoop's Dogghouse Records and Dre's Aftermath.  "Dre told me he had a lot of artists and I could join the team if I wanted to wait.  But he suggested Universal would be a good home if I was ready to work now.

Even though this period hurt him financially and personally, he was able to find out who was really down.  (His girl, Dre, Lyor Cohen and Power 106's Damian Young are the only people named.)  Certainly, the hard times have also seen him evolev as a person.

So in hindsight, Snoop did offer him a place alongside him on Dogghouse Records, showing he did try to help him out of a tight spot when he needed it, so for all of you who are talking on Snoop like he turned his back on Warren that's totally wrong.  And as for Warren's album sales, (one of you said something along the lines of, "It ain't like he's goin' 6X platinum") according to the article his first LP "Regulate...G Funk Era" sold 4.5 million copies to date, his second LP "Take A Look Over Your Shoulder has sold 2.7 million to date and his third LP "I Want It All" sales stats weren't listed, but I'm sure it went platinum, the article states that, "it failed to live up to expectations, even with the title song going platinum.".  So it looks as if Warren still had cash from sales, and he probably claimed bankruptcy by putting bank accounts and property in his girl's name to pull that off without someone being able to step in and say "look at his bank accounts and what he owns, no doubt he has money".

I just have to say, one more time, Big Jake, don't generalize people into categories.  I would have expected this out of someone that doesn't hold much respect from anyone around here, but not you or any of the other vets in here.
