No way BONE sold 27 million albums in the US. According to the RIAA, Pac is at 33.5 and Biggie is second with 16.5 (Fuck Hammer, he doesn't count, lol). Now even if u're counting BONE singles (such as Crossroads which went multiplatinum), u still won't get 27 million records, dog. JUST IMPOSSIBLE. Tell me how u would break these numbers between their 4 albums?? Or maybe u're counting all those other compilations they released but still, it's impossible. Come on, we've all been checking BONE ever since they came out. WHERE did they sell 27 million albums??? Certainly not in the US and I'm originally from Europe so I know about sales over there (Platinum in most European countries DOES not mean 1 million units, mind it). Therefore...

Yes, I am including all their solos and compilations as well. Layzie actually says they have sold 30 million in the US, but im sticking with 23-27 million for now. Dont trust all the numbers you see at RIAA. Alot of these albums are not updated. They got albums from the 70's that aint been updated that have probably gone up. I have a friend who WORKS for SoundScan, and according to him, these are the current numbers for Bone albums [rounded to the nearest million]:

Creepin On Ah Come Up: 4 million
Art Of War: 5 million
BTNHresurrection: Platinum
Family Scriptures: 2 million
Family Reunion: Platinum
Bizzy's first solo: Gold
Flesh's first solo: Gold
Krayzie's solo: 2 million
E.1999 Eternal: over 7 million
The Collection Vol.1: Gold

And these numbers [except BTNHresurrection cuz its only a year old] are all 2 years old or more. They have definatly gone up since then, especially E.1999 Eternal, which is one of the best selling older rap albums today. That album is STILL on the charts. Thats probably gonna be certified 8 or 9 million anyday now. So technically, they've sold AT LEAST 24 million, probably more. I definatly know they are the highest selling rap group ever, that I KNOW FOR FACT. And im pretty sure [when I say pretty sure, I mean 99.9%] they are second highest overall, only Pac has sold more.........for rap.
