Arteta, Mertesacker & Santos, good singings for Arsenal. Curious to see how Elia will do at Juventus and Diego at Atletico.

Happy to see Meireles go to Chelsea. I know he's gonna do big there.

Was very happy to see Porto NOT sell players like Fernando, Alvaro, Hulk, Moutinho or Guarin. I wish we scooped up a striker though.

Weird and very disappointing to see Ricardo Carvalho's attitude today. After being told by Portuguese international coach Paulo Bento that he would NOT be starting this Friday's Euro '12 Qualifier game, he responded by throwing a fit, storming out of training camp and then retiring from international duty citing "disrespect." I was shocked by this. Very prima donna and selfish from a player who I always have thought to be a class act, a model footballer. He is the greatest Portuguese defender of all time, very sad to see his International career end like this with a black eye.

K.Dub:
Yeah, quite happy with Arteta. The signing of Yossi reeks abit desperation, but I guess he can do his share.

I imagine Per doing a good job alongside Vermaelen, while Santos adds depth at the left back cause Gibbs is not enough.
