yeah, training day, kids, boyz n the hood, and friday are ALL different genres, but they are all urban movies cause theyre all set in an URBAN back drop, none of these movies take place in the sub urbs.

I see "Training Day" as a movie from a cops perspective, so I'd consider it a "cop movie" ("Edison Force", "Beverly Hills Cop", "National Security", "Dirty", "Money Talks" etc.)...Almost any movie with black people can be cosnidered urban, but if you really wanna be detailed, "Menace 2 Society" and "Training Day" fall under 2 different categories...PeACe
