yeah 15 PPVs; they might be cutting it down soon though; i read Cyber Sunday might be eliminated as PPV and used as one of the special shows or something.

i think they should go for about 8 PPVs at the most; it can build better and longer storylines and they might even get more buys since there wouldn't be a PPV every 3 weeks.

WWE should have banned the flying headbutt as one of the moves; they've banned several other high flying moves which seem far less dangerous, and wouldn't result in concussions or anything if performed properly.

Someone should make a megapost of all the banned moves via youtube clips

they banned a insane amount of moves, old school moves that have been a part of wrestling forever.  But jumping off a ladder is good to go tho, go figure.

anyone ever think that football is worse for your head than wrestling?

If a Football player took helmet to helmet hits 10 times a game, and played 3 games a week for 15 years you'd have an argument, but in football they simply don't take as many hits as Chris Benoit took. A wrestler works a lot more matches than a football players plays games. If Chris Benoit wrestled one match a week for 20 weeks a year he'd be in perfect health right now and he and his family would still be alive.

you don't think playin football all your life for decades isn't bad for your head?  doesn't matter about 10 hits to the head a game or whatever

those helmets aren't all that protective.... I'm not tryin to put down football, I'm just stating the obvious, and it's hard to argue with that

Football is definitely hazardous to your health. There's many players who are permanently injured because of the sport. I think Shallow's point was that pro wrestlers are a lot more active over the span of a year than football players are which naturally the more active you are, the quicker your injuries accumulate.

It's funny when Jerry Lawler wrestles on WWE TV and he can't even use his piledriver as a finisher.

They banned the Shooting Star Press for sure. The only time I saw that botched was when Brock Lesnar's giant ass tried to do it.

Booker uses the Harlem Hangover, but never connects with it anymore so in a way I guess that's banned.

Lesnar could actually do the shooting star press quite well. If you ever see his old OVW matches you'll see him perform it perfectly. The problem at Wrestlemania was that he didn't think to pull angle closer and jumped way to far across the ring.

Of coure it hurts your head. Didn't you read the article. They used football players with similar brain conditons to juxtapose Benoit's, and they said Benoit's the worse they have seen. Many football players who have taken on a wrestling schedule over the years have talked about how much harder on the bodies it is. It's not the wrestling match itself it's the endless match afer match with little break time. The bottom line is there are a lot more pro football players than pro wrestlers but there are lot more pro wrestlers dead before 45. That says something.

r.i.p Chris. I mean we all knew something had to be seriously wrong to make him do what he did, so I kinda expected something like this.
