The Chronic Doggystyle Era...Dre never made a wack beat back then...His new shit sounds mad repetative...That Bilal beat is fire though...

For a full album, Doggystyle is Dre's best production, in my opinion. But "Cant C Me" is his best beat ever, for just one song.

Here is how I look at it...



1.1975-1985 - Turntable DJ Era (World Class Wreckin Cru)

2.1986-1991 - Old School beats, that have a G-funkish touch to them (NWA Era)

3.1992-1994 - Beats that are way to (G) Funky. (Begining of Death Row Era)

4.1994-1996 - Funky Beats, yet a new sound to them (End of Death Row Era)

5.1996-Present - Futuristic beats (Aftermath Era)

The G-funk era was the best. Like someone said, it's hard to loom at the last page of the all eyez on me booklet and see all those releases and have shit like the chronic 2, etc never see the light of day and the stuff that did come out wasn't even that great. (doggfather)

i luved all thsoe eras except the period of 97-98 when he was repetedy using dark pianos and shit like on "Everyday thang" and "nas is coming"
