Sorry, actually the article is not written by me. Its written by a guy name Tim Wise. I thought it was interesting, so I posted to see what everyone else thought.

Actually it would be quite easy to hide a white baby in Egypt at that time. This was the Greek era of Egypt and there would have been plenty of white Greeks all over the place.

I'm not saying Jesus was white. It doesn't say that anywhere. That was just a Catholic decision to make it so. The Greek Orthodox Church has always portrayed him as dark skinned. Palestinean looking. My pointis that this writer isn't only stupid for wasting his time writing this tripe. He's stupid for making fictional arguments like Egypt being all black in the beginning of the common era.

Well wasn't Black in the beginning and then due to the invasion of the Greeks Egypt began to decline in its Blackness.

The "blackness" started going away about 400 years before the Greeks got there when the Assyrians invaded and took over and by most accounts the Assyrians are the ancestors of most arab people. The Greeks were in Egypt for 330 years before Jesus would have been brought there as a baby, so we're talking about 700 of non-black invasion and settlement. A white baby wouldn't stick out all that much.
