so yeah, most cops are just folks working like you and I but it's just a way bigger deal when there are whack ass cops cause they can affect us so much more intensely than most other professions

factor in the fact that violence can often result from such situations and it's why cops have such a bad rap

word bro i hear ya, but that fact that a taco bell lackey cant kill you and a cop can separates the way we generalize their professions..i grew up and one of my dads best friends was this detective and he was a hella cool guy, but he still wasn't like the cool guys at my dads work who would get shitty drunk and smoke pot and make me laugh all the time. i never felt truly threatened by those dudes other than the fact they could beat my little ass. so, its still fuck the police all day, at least in my book.

but in a criminal justice class i had last quarter they said that kern county has the most strict sherriffs unit and most trigger happy police units. with all that you'd think there'd be less crime....but there's not. when you think about it bakersfield is a lot like what LA was backin the 80's with the crack epidemic (meth), police brutality being unknown,  fucked up economics with the rich and the poor. increased gang violence, ect, ect,
