   EXACTLY! I haven't jumped in this thread yet but for real..... you can't deny Chronic 2001. You can go ahead and say that you dont like it.... but when you got millions of muthafuckers praising it (some who aint even into rap) and it's getting nominated for grammies...... you can't deny it.

    And it's not that the people who praise Chronic 2001 are Dr Dre "Dickriders".... it's just that the rest of you are straight HATERS!

u can't say the same for art of war cuz 1. it's not critically acclaimed 2. every bone fan i know thinks that album is their worst 3. there's more people who don't like it than do

OK, you dont' sell as much as 2001 did, and not be considered at least a damn near classic in your style of music. The fact it's not a near classic is because of what was already mentioned. The critics and non rap fans loved it.

I'm a huge Bone fan. I've got all 5 group cd's, both of bizzy's, Flesh's 1st, Krayzie's, and all Mo Thugs.
Art of War has alot of good stuff, but some bad stuff. I'd consider Eternal a classic. Hell, I like both collections more than either disc on AOW. I feel AOW ain't near  a classic.

i still say it aint a classic, cuz there are 3-4 tracks that are shit which is too much, but for me its too close

Critically acclaimed status doesnt mean jack shit. I judge the album by the content, not critical status. And my ears tell me Art Of War is a better album than 2001.
