But one thing i will say..about J.Holiday is this "Thug-Singing-Persona"..that he seems to have chosen as his image.. :-\ :-\
C'mon R.Kelly has been doing it, and still is......But apart from that..His Muisc is good!!!

i like the thug-singing persona on this album, that's what i think made it so good...i didn't expect it, and it was a nice surprised when i turned on track 1 LOL 8)

I'd rather hear someonw with a thug persona than an album full of shawty songs with snap beats.

I like the R&B thug persona if it works well, like it does on this album, and it does for TQ and R. Kelly.  It does get corny if it's not done right though.

I haven;t heard Tanks new shit, but you should definitely get this.  Also get the new Joe, Jagged Edge, and Ne-Yo, those are good R&B records

Yeah, Tank's new record is dope. Ne-Yo is a lil to poppish for me, but he has a couple of nice tracks on it.

I don't think this touches Joe's record, and Kellz's new shit was hardly an R&B record, but other than those two this is up there for R&B record of 2007 for me.

Joe's was damn good, but not as consistent as this one IMO...Kells' album had a shit load of fillers as well for me...opinions i guess though homie 8)
