Next on the list is DMX.. He was indicted the other day for showing up late to serve out his two week jail sentence in Erie County, New York. If you may recall, earlier this year, DMX was convicted for driving without a licence and was sentenced to two weeks in jail. He did everything possible to avoid the sentence including taking his case to NY's Supreme Court. Unfortunately no one would give him a break.

DMX pleaded with the judge to delay his sentencing because he was in the middle of wrapping up his new movie Exit Wounds. He had a number of promotional and contractual obligations. For him to not be able to fulfill them would've seriously set back not just DMX, but the entire movie and all the people involved. DMX wanted to serve out his sentenced after the opening of the flick. Still the judge would not budge. Hence DMX did what he needed to do and showed up 13 days after his scheduled sentencing date.

Once on lock down DMX ran into problems inside. The word we were getting, was that prison guards were hating on him because of his celebrity status. They were doing everything to make life difficult. Finally something did occur. A guard accused DMX of throwing a food tray at him resulting in him [DMX] getting charged with assault. When we saw DMX performing at the after party to Exit Wounds, we noticed him limping.. Some speculated it was a result of the prison guards..Now DMX not only has to face the new indictments.. But he will soon have to answer to the assault charges on the correction officer.. We wish him luck and hopefully they'll go light on him..
