AMSTERDAM, Nov 3 (Reuters) - AZ Alkmaar boss Louis van Gaal will coach his team from a wheelchair during Saturday's home match against NEC Nijmegen after breaking his ankle and leg.
Van Gaal, a former Dutch national coach, suffered the injuries during a reunion of his former academy, Alkmaar said on their Web site www.az.nl.
He had surgery late on Friday and was discharged from hospital on Saturday.
