get an audio cord, and record it straight 2 ya hard drive.

No, i mean an RCA Plugg or cord.

Not a MONO microphone no way, a STEREO RCA Cable.

In Audacity how do you enable it to record sounds being played from the computer? or do you need a mic to put by the speakers lol?

In Audacity how do you enable it to record sounds being played from the computer? or do you need a mic to put by the speakers lol?

My laptop has a mic built in to it. I think most computers do.

ok thanks so youre saying i do need a mic to record from the speakers, i have one but i was hoping there was some magical way to just pick up the signal as its being put out thru the speakers and into the record track
