If you read my post you would see that I mentioned the 40GB PS3, which is the only one that lacks backwards compatibility for PS2 titles. All other PS3 models have some kind of backwards compatibility for PS2 titles and all can play PS1 games.

they sell the ps2 39,99$ where i live, it's cheaper to buy a 40 gig and a ps2 than a ps3 80gig
