Ice Cube not huge as a rapper in the UK ?

over here in the UK, if anything Ice Cube is mainly  known for his movies, and not for being a rapper. Its mainly Snoop N Game everybody knows from the west and u can say Dre aswell cos of the Eminem affiliation. But me myself having gone a lil bit deeper into west coast .. basically i have recognized that cube is considered as big as if not bigger then Game n Snoop for us hip hop fans and mailnly west... so how comes Ice Cube isnt really out there and as well known for makin quality hip hop as Snoop/ Game are?

Nah, seriously its due to the fact that hip hop/urban/r n b what ever the radio and mtv over here try and catogorise it has only really blown up in the last 5 years or so on a mainstream level.

During that time cube hasnt released anything that has been a commercial success where as game and snoop have released tracks that have.

Add the fact that snoop is constantly promoting himself and game had the G Unit affiliation which played a part in his success over here.

Where as cube has released an indepndant album with little publicity, in fact i only ever saw his vid on channel u a couple of times.

Its all about exposure and cube doesent get as much over here because he doesent have the huge labels behind him.

YOU CAN DO IT WAS A SMASH HIT OVER HERE.....................but cube dont seem to want to stay in the spotlight......he needed to be consistent after the war and peace albums but he just played the background.
