u cant just say smiths regime was good because the economy- which was built on systemic racism and damn near forced labour- was good. the people suffered under a diasgusting system responsible for many crimes

although smith was a retard for thinking white rule would last 1000 years, what was certainly true for the majority of africa is they were never ready for independence and the governments who took over from their colonial powers were often much worse and differnece in living standards between developed and developing countries has risen exponentially.
