anybody else football career over

ima senior in high school and i played my last game a week ago...we lost in the playoffs and now i feel so empty i've always had football and now i got nothin...on the good side getting out WAY earlier is nice  ;D

I never played but i've been to almost every home game since I was a freshman. Our team just lost a few weeks ago, gonna miss going those friday night games

im considering playing juco football, but i want to go straight to a 4 year although i may not be able to because of money

lol mines been over for a few years now. i don't even think i could play line backer anymore,lol. i'm too out of it too even sit on the sideline as coach.lol.

Yeah I feel you on that. I graduated '04 and we played in our pick-up game Turkey Bowl on Thursday, was sore for a couple days. Sporty, if you aren't sure about what you are going to do or about funds, going to junior college isn't a bad option, plus you can play ball there. If you go to a 4-year with a program, you could also try to walk-on, but you need to start training because the next level is way tougher. Good luck with whatever you do.

thanks for the advice man although im gonna miss it, i think i probably wont play in junior college i was only a part time starter and platoon player on my low division school, but hopefully i can keep playin with the homies in parks and stuff, stay in shape

^^I feel you man, it's a weird feeling not playing football anymore. The park games are fun as hell tho, everyone talks shit about when we played and tries to prove that they got better or they still got it. And after a game there's always a couple of us who talk about trying to play again, but only a few of us actually do haha.
