The Last Meal and Doggfather are both tight but The Last Meal is the best album of 2000 and is better than Doggfather.

I've been thinking about this a lot lately.
Last Meal is easy to listen to, Hen and Bud, Snoop Dogg, True Lies, Wrong Idea, Stacey Adams, Lay Low, Bring it On, Loosen Control,Yall Gon Miss Me are the bizzomb, funky sheeeeatttt.

But Doggfather seems more real, it seems like the real Snoop, plus it has the artists which the LMeal should have had: Daz, Kurupt, more Tracey Davies, more Soopafly youknowhatimsayin?

It is too close to call IMO.

doggfather was more of a deeper west coast album than last meal(which was like east, west, south album combine) and dj pooh and daz did a good job producing the shit and snoop's flow was hella better but the last meal dr.dre only produced like 3 average tracks(for his ability) and the rest was pretty much pop to me and not to mention snoop's flow is like a 3 year old writing lyrics

You guys are insane...the Last Meal is 10 times the album Doggfather is. Doggfather had about 4 good songs. In my opinion, "Up Jump The Boogie" is a classic, and "Snoops Upside Ya Head", "Doggfather" and "Wake Up" were great songs. BUT THE REST WAS GARBAGE. Snoop's flow on that album was horrible. I cant believe some people are mentioning songs like "Six Minutes" or "You Thought" as being good. He doesnt rap on them, he basically talks over the beat.

The Last Meal on the other hand is straight up funk. Anyone who doesnt like this album isnt a fan of funk, and probably shouldnt be listening to Snoop anyway. Songs like "Go Away, "Wrong Idea" and "Bring it On" are incredible. There is really only a few bad songs on the cd, the one with Master P and the 2 produced by Timbaland. But Snoops's flow on this cd is 1000 times better than on Doggfather. And Kokane provides nothing but funk on alot of the songs hooks. This album is dope, and I have been listening to it constantly since it came out.

tha doggfather was a sick cd man, i remember when it came out, just before x-mas of 96 i bought the cd and my boy who hates rap was like damn man can i borrow that...he ended up going out and buying a copy...oh and not to mention that tha doggfather is his 2nd best selling album...i don't think he fell off from doggystyle, he just had pooh and daz instead of dre so it sounded different...i'd love to hear a snoop, daz, and dj pooh cd today but i don't think that's gonna happen, peace.
