I thought that too but this is what Jayo said in a 2003 interview I did with him:

 Nima : Are we going to see a Criminalz Vol. 2 album? And how come you weren't on the cover of Vol. 1?

Because that wasn't never a group.. And I wasn't part of no group, I just appeared on the album and did songs with the cats, that was just the end of it, you know what I mean? Them is my folks, but its like, I'm tryna do bigger and better things..

Nima : But are we ever goin' to see a Criminalz Vol. 2?

Nah, I mean there wasn't no Criminalz Vol 1 as far as I'm concerned, you know? Its just a project that I did songs on, and that was just the end of it.. There wasn't ever no group or nothin' like that.

The album was a classic, and it was hella slept on. I got it the month it got out (I think it was about 2001), and I still bump it...

I remember reading an interview with Spice, and he said he'd like to make another album. I really hope it happens. Those guys had nice chemistry. But first of all, I hope Spice gets better of course!!!!!
