MPC QUESTION

I WANT TO BUY A MPC BUT I DON'T HAVE THAT MUCH MONEY AND BEFORE I BUY ANYTHING I WANT TO KNOW YOUR ADVICE ON THIS..I WANT TO KNOW WATH'S THE BEST FOR YOU TO START PRODUCIN MUSIC - AKAI MPC 1000 - 2000 - or you got the low price like the mpd 24 and the mpd 16 ..

Whats up, I use the mpc 1000 myself and also had a 2000, 500 and roland mv 8800.
To me the 1000 is the best one to start with, it has all you expect from an mpc.

My advice is even if you're on a low budget never buy the 500, it is not good at all, the screen is too small, the sound is not the same than in the other mpc, you hear less high and low frequenciies etc.

And last thing : don't expect the mpc to "bring you to the next level", I always hear this type of shit about mpcs but there isnt any magic in it, if you can make dope beats on software then you'll make dope beats on the mpc but if you can't it'll be the same.

ok thanks for the advise.i heard that the mpd 24 is good to (even know it's not on a mpc level) but i doubt it but if it's true i'm going with that cause it's only 200euro(i'm from europe )

exacly the machine wont make you cut youre samples better, sequence or jam better.
It has loads of options, good sound quality.
