Shit Lebron is already at 9,000+. As long as he stays healthy, he can do it in the next 3 or 4 years. He'll be 27/28. And at that point, nobody is beating that number.

If Kobe had a team like the cleveland since he came into the league he probaly would have did it long ago.
Congrats .. anyways these stats don't mean shit imo .. it all depends on what situation the player arrived in the league .. I mean Jordan, Lebron, AI , Wilt had the "green light" to score a shiltload of points the 1st year they played ... Kobe was just a promising young talent behind a superstar (Shaq) and 2 all stars
Na Lebron is sick, I'm just saying if he had a guy like shaq on his team for most of his career he probaly wouldn't kill off Kobes youngest to get 20,000 like he is going to.
Using "What If's" are never a good way of pleading a case. What if Kobe was the leader of the Lakers and there was no Shaq? What if Kobe didn't do a great job as a leader? What if's...
having shaq and two all stars on the team eventually helped kobe for the better, the defense would focus more on Shaq and allowed kobe more opportunity for a mismatch or a 1 on 1 with a defender making it easier to score or gettin more open looks at the basket. Jordan and Lebron scored with no help at all, no big center in the middle, and being double teamed most of the time. if lebron passes kobe it'll be more impressive than kobe doing it in 11 seasons but really doesn't matter to me this stat is pointless.
LeBron will break his record soon enough.

Yeah right , Kobe had his best two scoring season without a single help
