Shit Lebron is already at 9,000+. As long as he stays healthy, he can do it in the next 3 or 4 years. He'll be 27/28. And at that point, nobody is beating that number.

Real talk. Which makes his accomplishment even more amazing. And like NIK said, Kobe averaged 7 points a game in his rookie season. Had he got drafted by a weak team that pretty much said 'here's the ball go out there and have fun' then who know what he might've done already.
