Sauce money - "I got my name Sauce Money because of growing up in Marcy. My real name is Todd and my friends used to call me Tarter Sauce. First I was Todd, than Tarter Sauce, then Sauce Money and when I started spittin'  out the lyrics everybody started calling me Sauce Muthafucka. Now they call me sauce Muthafucka all the time because I don't give a fuck."

MC Lyte - "When I was younger my mom kept reading material in the bathroom. There was a book entitled 'Dictionary of Thoughts.' There is where I found many defenitions from philosapheres on the word light. Evereything was positive and uplifting. So I snatched it or embraced it (some would say) and mad eit my own. Charli Baltimore - "I was watching this movie called 'Long Kiss Goodnight.' Geena Davis was in it and she had a split personality; sort of an alter ego called Charly Baltimore. I thought the name was kinda' cool. I was watching the movie with Big in the hospital after he was in the car accident and I was like, 'That's a hot name.' My old name was Tiflon 'cause my real name is Tiffany but Big said that i was now gunna be Charli Baltimore because it sounded like it could be an Italian Jersey housewife."
