bump, does anyone know the story behind this petty beef?

i read somewhere that quik was questioned about this track and he denied that this was toward Dr- Dre

  In XXL, Quik denies it being about Dre but in the next sentence, more or less admits it's Dre. He says something along the lines of he was dissing someone who was the greatest producer in rap music and then when asked about who he thinks the greatest producer is, he says Dre. I recall Quik saying the Dre situation was based off of him having haters in his circle who said "Dre said this about you".
