Gualaguetza is the best I've had here in L.A.

http://www.guelaguetzarestaurante.com/menu/index.html

If you do go here, try the Enchiladas de Mole Rojo.  It's the best "fancy" mexican Restaurant.

The best Mexican seafood place is without a doubt, Mariscos El Perihuete.  This restaurant started off just one, and now there's one in the three biggest cities that's predominantly latino.

http://www.menukarma.com/menus/menu-for-mariscos-el-perihuete-in-los-angeles

The pescado sarandeado (fish that's cooked in butter, spices, veggies are more stuff i cant remember) it is out of this world.  I know a chef who's from Sinaloa Mexico, and he's popular for making that dish in his town and even he said that this is the best Sarandeado he's had aside from his own lol.

You should also try a lot of the mexican fast food taco places...there's too many good ones so all you need is to eat at a few random places and you're bound to run into a really good one.

Oh yeah, you gotta get some Birria too!  which is goat stew.  Anthony Bourdain from the Travel Channell tried some at Birrieria Chalio.

Since you're gonna be in L.A, I'll recommend some non mexican restaurants...

Philippe the Original
http://www.philippes.com

It's one of the most famous restaurants in L.A., it's pretty close to Dodger Stadium.

And here's the best burger place in L.A....yep better than Tommys..but still go for both lol

http://www.thecounterburger.com/menu/  (you can build your own burger)

I've only been to Malo and El Cholo.  I prefer Malo over el Cholo though.  El Cholo is like a higher class version of Taco Bell...as in it says they are serving you Mexican food but it's done in an American way...ya get me?  If you go to Malo, try the Herradura Tequila...one of the best tequilas out there.

I need some advices.
And please......don't send me in some fucked up war zones  ;D

For some bomb-ass Burritos, I'd tell you to go to El Mero Mero burrito stand in Pacoima, but that's a fucked up warzone... I'd also suggest El Michoacan in North Hollywood off of Lankershim & Sherman Way, but that's a fucked up warzone too  ;D

Javii, what can you tell me about these ones ?

El Tepayac Cafe 812 N Evergreen Ave

Fuck with Tepeyac. That place is bomb. Try killing a burrito on your own, them shits are massive.

Fuck with any of these King Taco Locations listed below:

1118 Cypress Ave.
Los Angeles,Ca 90065

2400 E. Cesar Chavez Ave.
Los Angeles, Ca 90033

4300 E. Olympic Blvd.
Los Angeles, Ca 90023

And word, you'll be fine in Pacoima and you'll def be fine in North Hollywood. Warzone's or not, nobody will trip on you as long as you don't start shit. Don't attract too much attention and don't carry too much money with you if you're worried. You'll be fine though man. L.A. is not as bad as people make it seem.

That is true... but the darker it gets outside, the odds for trouble increase, especially in those two particular spots, Van Nuys Blvd. in Pacoima and Lankershim/Sherman Way in No. Hollywood.
