If they can make it a legitimate prison, sure. So Guantanamo should remain as it is, because the US are going to stay in Cuba forever?
What business do the US have anyway, intervening in other countries, telling them their government isn't run 'the right way'? I say as long as the US themselves are pretty damn far from perfect, they should focus on becoming an example to the countries they condemn. You make it seem as if the US are right for their attitude against Cuba.
Besides, let this not be mistaken for me having any sympathy for a communist, collectivist or altruist state.
