Great read, thanks DubCNN.

I've been listening to that latest UGK a lot for the past few days. I picked it up back in September and it's taken a long time for me to really appreciate it. When I first heard it a lot of it was so dark and so downbeat that I wasn't really feeling it. I kinda felt like "this is some depressing music". But the more I've listened the more beautiful some of the production sounds, and Pimp passing makes some of his lines fucking gut-wrenching to hear now. RIP to that man.

I know exactly what you mean, especially the song "Heaven" is creepy when you listen to it now.
