Wut up Shade! Thanx for the history lesson; I have always been a fan & Quik is my fav of all time so I knew "John Doe" would be classic. I also gotta give u props for Informal Introduction, it was a dope album and one my favorite track on there is "Walk A Mile". Now theres a song to get blazed to! One last thing before I end this, I really became a fan of yours after hearing "get yo head out yo ass" you brought it lyrically on that cut! I wish you continued success---keep pushin' dawg & represent that West!
Quik and Devante in one room; damn, you should have tried to keep them there longer to do more beats. "John Doe" is what Westcoast music is all about. Amazing song.
yo shade, what about the collaboration? btw, I like that shit you do with Nate. Did you talk to him since he had that stroke? You and Nate was always tight man, appreciate that.
but the track Warren G hooked you up with was nice also that "wake up". I for one appreciate when artists like yourself take time to holla at the fans, props on the story behind "john doe"
^did you do more tracks with Warren G besides Bounce and Wake Up? if so, will we ever get to hear those?
I been bumpin the shit outta Glam Lyfe lately, that shit starting to sound like a classic to me already LOL!!!
Thanks for the info. Let's hope he wants to get them out... and if you get them out, don't sell them through snocap.com!
