I thought Pac was confused/intrigued with the whole concept of religion, i never heard anything about him wanting to become a Muslim although i know he supported a lot of their ideas.

some other Muslim rappers:
Kam
MC Ren (i think, he usually puts some elijah mohammed on his albums)

Just because someone is soul searching, and questioning God, it doesn't make them a Muslim.  "Blasphemy" puts him much closer to an agnostic than a Muslim.  That would be great if Pac was planning on reverting to Islam, but I don't think it's the truth.  You got to come with alot better evidence than the song "Blasphemy."

hey, i don't think that pac was any religion, but i do believe that he believed in jesus and the things that he stood for. i've read some of the interviews before he died and thats what he said. he believed in certain aspects of the religion of christianity, not all, but the important things.

I believe you that Xzibit's tattoos are evidence enough that he's Christian.  But on the track, "Focus" off 40 days and 40 nights he rhymes, "

Fast Friday straight
to meditate
and biuld hunger
and focus
on the days and times that approach us

Fridays are to us Muslims what Sundays are to Christians, and fasting is an intrical part of Islam as well, it's called for in the five pillars, and Xzibit was reffering to that when he says, "Fast Friday."

And about Wu-tang being 5%'s.  Your correct. You were asking just what a 5% is.  It's the believe that 90% of the world is ignorant, and ten percent is knowledgable or intelligent.  And of that 10%, 5% keep it to themselves, while the other 5% spread the knowledge they were blessed with.  I don't know where to get ahold of any 5 percenter books, I'm white, but still I'd like to learn more about it.

i'm probably off base here but...so basically 5%ers think that they are better than everyone, do they believe that christians are in the 90% and are ignorant? i'm sure that's not the case cuz muslums are usually peacful people who don't think like that...that a lil odd

BigJakeDogg, I don't understand what your saying.

5%'s I don't think has anything to do with religion.  It could possibly have something to do with the Nation of Islam but I doubt it, I'm an orthadox Muslim so I wouldn't know anything about that.  5%'s is a philosophy.  I think they believe that all white people are pigs.  Like when you hear RZA spitting that shit like on Tony Touch's album where he says, "zig zag zig, we don't fuck with no pig" That some 5% shit right there.  And anyone correct me if I'm wrong.  Being a 5% doesn't have anything to do with being a Muslim or Christian, or thinking that they are better than Muslims or Christans.

I think you'd have to live in New York and go to a black bookstore to pick up some 5%'s material.  Nas, Wu-tang, AZ, I think are all down with the 5%'s movement.
