There's this quote that stumbled into my head but I can't think of where exactly it comes from. I'm 90% sure that it's from The Wire, but I could be wrong. My brother also thinks it's from The Wire. To be more specific, we're pretty sure that Herc says it. Only problem is, I don't remember in which episode and season it was said.

The quote I'm talking about is something along the lines off:

"Here we see the creature in its natural habitat" - I think Herc says it when he's observing Carver or somebody else. Again, I could be wrong, but something tells me it is indeed Herc in The Wire who says it.

I've only started watching Season 4 last week (I'm at the 4th episode right now) and I can't really remember hearing the quote in one of those episodes, so it must be from the first three seasons.

I think youre right, Herc told that Carver... wasnt it in Season 2 when Herc was dressing like these drug dealers wiggas to have some informations .. Im not sure about the scene but its from the Wire without a doubt

You could be right about the scene...I'm not sure. Anyone else who can confirm this?
I must've watched each season at least 4 times by now, but I just don't manage to say where exactly it is from. And I don't feel like rushing through every episode now just to catch that one line...

I just remember that I loved that line. Herc's sense of humor is hilarious. Same goes for Bunk. "You happy now, bitch?"
