trade Santana for practically nothing, and they replace him with...Livan Hernandez! lol wow, their GM should be fired.

oh yeah, failed to resign hunter...cant really fault them on that one though, hunter wanted (and got) too much..

I wouldn't be too concerned about the Twins. Trades like the Santana one always seem to work out for the best. Fans of the team know the Twins have one of the best farm teams in baseball, if not the best, and they are more focused on young talent than anything else. It sucks that both Torii and Johann left, but that is the nature of the beast. There is no way in hell a small market team like the Twins could ever afford anything those two were offered.

Besides, they are building their team more towards the opening of the new stadium in 2010 than for right now. As long as they don't drop too much lower than .500, I'll be happy.
