Not always. Take Pocos Pero Locos for example: when the network started, they had no radio singles, clean versions, promotion,
nothing
. It was all
uncensored
material (except for profanity, which still is, an FCC must). Though it was 1-hour, it was truly something that made radio radical.
Today, radio is for lovers. And I hate to say this: I only use it to listen to New At 2 now.
