What’s cracking my peoples! I been so deep in the Lab, I haven’t checked in wit’ y’all in a minute! Just wanted to connect with my folks and wish y’all Happy New Year and such…. Looks like this year is gonna be crazy, and I want to up y’all on everything personally before you get it elsewhere. A lot of y’all already know, but I want to officially make it plain …..My new LP, EVERYWHERE AT ONCE is in the can, and being released WORLDWIDE on all formats, on 4/22/08. I have no problem, and can say with all confidence, EVERYWHERE AT ONCE IS MY BEST WORK TO DATE, and I’m hella excited for y’all to hear it. Let’s just put it like this…I played it for Gab and he started slapping the hell outta the dashboard in my fine European automobile. I thought he was gonna trigger the airbags and sh!t. I left it all out there on the field, team. I’m so committed to doing nothing less than my very best, and I refuse to release something I can’t stand on, 1000%. Y’all expect that from me, I expect that from myself, and I refuse to let us down. IF I CAN’T MAKE CLASSICS, I DON’T WANT TO MAKE RECORDS. If these cats is winning Grammies, and “Album of the Year” and all that mess, I’m getting the Nobel Peace Prize for this one, Fam!

I’m so blessed. The first commercial radio single, “I LIKE IT, I LOVE IT”, was brought to several key stations nationwide, and apparently they’re feelin’ it hard. As I usually do, to commemorate the release of my new LP, I’ll be dropping the latest installment in the LYRICS BORN VARIETY SHOW franchise, SEASON 3. My dude DJ ICEWATER, who mixed Season 1, helped me put the latest edition together, and we made sure to give you a few sneak peaks off EVERYWHERE AT ONCE, including the afore-mentioned single, I LIKE IT, I LOVE IT. We definitely made sure to go the extra mile on this one, Peoples. It’s just under an hour of damn near, completely all, never-before-heard UNRELEASED EXCLUSIVES AND REMIXES. And to top it off, for a limited time only, and exclusively for my L-BEEZIES and my QUAMMIES, I’m gonna practically GIVE YOU THE DOWNLOAD, THE DAY AFTER IT’S MASTERED! I feel so good about my latest album, I’m gonna practically give you the mixtape that spills the beans. Stay tuned because we ain’t wastin’ no time, baby.

How ‘bout this? JOYO VELARDE’S ALBUM IS DONE!!!!!!!!!! We finished mixing and sequencing last week, and it is being mastered as we speak! “LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING” IS IN THE CAN!!!!! I’m about as excited about the completion of this joint as I am about my own, Peoples. Those of you who know my lady from my albums will finally get to see her spread her wings on her own FULL-LENGTH DEBUT! LOVE AND UNDERSTANDING is by far the most SOULFUL, DEEP, and DIVERSE collection of songs I’ve heard from any artist in a while, and I’m up on most. I’m very proud of her, and am excited that y’all will finally get to hear the full scope of this vastly talented artist. Look for it this SUMMER on MOBILE HOME/QUANNUM PROJECTS.

Yeah, that was definitely some good exposure for a cool song. This new "I Like It, I Love It" track is alright, it seems like people would get down to it, but I'm not really into it.
