It highly lacked the intensity and drama of the first... but Pavlik retained his title against Jermaine Taylor..

It was definitely not as exciting as the first fight, but Pavlik kept the title. We love him here in Ohio. Check my sig!!!

By the way, they said Pavlik might fight Felix Trinidad next!

From what I understand Taylor thought he was gonna win the first fight, so he put a non-title rematch in the contract. Then he got fucked over cuz he lost. haha.

Pavlik is dope. I want to see him take down some more big names.

I thought that Taylor was going to try to avenge his loss... not fight to survive the distance. If going the distance without getting knocked out was his goal, then he achieved it...lol.

Didn't watch it. For some reason, their feud never interested me.

I Like Power Punching.
Nothing Like a Good Old School Slugfest!

I'd Like To see Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik Vs. Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy
Even Tho, I'm Almost Certain That Pavlik Would Win That Matchup if It was ever to go Down.
Tho Style And Punching Ability of a Jeff Jacy Would make That Dream matchup a Modern Day Version of
Julian Jackson Vs. Gerald McClellan A Slugfest

Danm! Gerald McClellan, Was an exciting Fighter to watch.  :'(

I wasn't sure about that fighting style either, I guess Taylor figured his best chance was to avoid a slugfest and try to be more tactical, but that didn't work. As close as he was to scoring an early knockout in the first fight, I figured he would try to attack with that same type of intensity, but it didn't happen. I don't see Taylor taking more losses though, he will still take on anybody in the division, with the exception of Pavlik.
I got a bird's eye view
