Unsigned artist, kinda Like Ya Boy. This Mixtape tho (California Blackout) is coming out through my production label Focus Music Group and the Black Wallstreet though. It will be a FREE mixtape so keep checkin dubcc and dubcnn for new songs n info.

I got a question for you, why promote someone who is not officially signed to your label (if he isn't family)?  BWS promoted Ya Boy, gave Dubb shine and yet they're not signed to the label.  Now this dude, who sounds dope from the two songs, will be promoted by BWS and FMG but isn't signed.  I don't see the logic in that.

Truth is, Ya boy, Dubb, all them Unsigned dudes are on their initial stages of being signed, like Game..>Game didnt get signed to Math straight away, he had to roll with JT and Drop some avarage ass Cd's, which got interest of the label, thats what Ya boy and all them trynna do,Game put them On, BWS mixtapes and shit, Like Glasses, He got some buzz on the tapes, with Game and shit and Sony SIgned him...Thats what Ya boy trynna do, he trynna get people interested in him, and sign him, He waiting some somebody, I dunno, like CTE, DTP, P$C, Sony, Whatever rapper feels like he likes Ya BOy, thats why they are dropping songs constandly, fear is, Nobody might never ever get the interest in them, like Bunch of other West Coast cats, who been on the low for years and never blew up..Thats just the truth, that hurts...

Rappers need to hustle, hard, to create the buzz....I just hope Eastwood drops CD on some label and Jay Rock, dont let the talent slip away

I see what you're saying but if I'm the head of a label I'm not going to help build buzz for an artist just to have him sign with another label unless he was family.  Why not sign them to a developmental deal instead.  You're right though ALOT of these "New West" artists need to step their hustle up and not rely on the big dogs to give them shine.  The majority of these artists will never make it past internet fame.
Yeah, hopefully Eastwood will drop something this year and Jay Rock as well.  That record with Wayne (if they can have Wayne do a cleaner version) should help Rock get into the spotlight.
