I JUST GOT A GRIIIIIIIP OF HIS PRODUCTIONS TODAY AT THE RECORD STORE AND I GOTTA SAY HIS PRODUCTION IS ONLY 2ND TO DR. DRE'S IN MY OPINION, I KNOW I'M GONNA GET SACRIFICED FOR THIS AND CALLED OUT BECUASE I'M PUTTING HIM OVER DAZ AND WARREN AND QUIK AND DJ PREMIER AND RZA, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T GIVE A FUCK I'VE HEARD ALL THEIR PRODUCTIONS AND ALMOST ALL OF TIMBOS AND I REALLY GOTTA ADMIT THAT TIMBO IS AND EXCELLENT PRODUCER

All the other's but Dre all have their own style that never seems to change. Timberland has his bouncing uptembo shit that is tight as fuck. Warren G has that laid back futurist funk that's just laid back. D.J. Premire has the mellow shit with lots of mixing for the course, and Daz keeps it gangsta. I guess it just all depends on taste for who think is second best. Different styles, different goals, but just remember that the one on top, is the one that has perfected many styles, sounds, insterments, and the only rap producer to win a grammy (unless Puffy did, but does he count) and that's Dre.

i am just getting into east coast rap, and i luv dj premier, it seems he runs the east like dre runs the westcoast production...my 2 favorite premo beats i have heard are:

1. NAS IS LIKE- best song on i am...great shit

2. one in amillion-jayz song, dope as hell..nice beat..

can nayone recommend some more dope beats by premo?
